Zusammen* Together in Moritzbastei of Leipzig: “in the swirl of the feelings”…

One dreamed musical as of the first second. The pianist Isabelle Serrand and the actor-singer Wolfgang Pissors were received Wednesday evening in Moritzbastei for a melodious travel in the German and French poetry of the Thirties… To tend, melancholic person, funny, sometimes touching and extremely at the same time, this Zusammen*Ensemble makes us think of Berlin and Paris between the two wars. This poetic and musical show succeeds in evoking musical connection between the composer of Brecht, Hanns Eisler, and his pupil Joseph Kosma composer of Prévert.

The repertoire makes us dream. Common topics circulate from one author to another in poetic and musical languages different. This constant to and from between Paris and Berlin underlines specificities stylistics and clarifies at the same time the force of the words which did not lose anything of their news.

Wolfgang Pissors, in German as in French, can alternate humour and revolved, the public laughs and is touched at the same time. The accompaniment with the piano of Isabelle Serrand is the expression of his grace. With softness and lightness, with a suspicion of melancholy it involves everyone in this travel.

Zusammen*Ensemble is a meeting successful between France and Germany, between Wolfgang Pissors and Isabelle Serrand, Jacques Prévert and Bertolt Brecht. A meeting of two artists of exception with their public.
